Welcome to these pages dedicated to our Academic Formation Program:

During the meetings and conferences which led up to the creation of the Evangelical Catholic Church one of the many issues we dealt with was the matter of academic and formational standards we wished to embrace, for at that time many of the participants within the Independent Catholic Movement had little, if any, professional training or academic studies and very few, if any, jurisdictions required them.

The Evangelical Catholic Church did not want to follow that trend.

What the following pages intent to do is to offer a program of study and preparation for candidates to Orders and ministry within the Independent Catholic Movement that will lend dignity and professionalism to it.

In recent years, many universities have created and now offer a Masters of Divinity programs that can be completed mostly online within a two to three year period.  These programs also come with a significant tuition cost that may be impossible for some candidates and jurisdictions to afford.

This program of studies might be the alternative.

I hope that after you review the goals and outlines of this program, you might agree.
