Presiding Bishop's Statement calling for complete Covid 19 Vaccination.

Bishop James Alan Wilkowski. Evangelical Catholic Bishop for the Diocese of the Northwest has issued the following endorsement calling for complete Covid Vaccination in the United States.

In recent days the United States has crossed the profound threshold of 700,000 covid deaths in the United States.

I believe that the world community has been blessed by the fact that those within the medical and pharmaceutical ranks where able to research, create and make available reliable vaccines the combat this virus and begin the save lives.

According to recent CDC reports, the United States now has approximately 182.5 million citizens either vaccinated.  This represents 55% of the American population.  While we should be happy with these numbers thus far, I believe that more needs to be done to promote, endorse and, if necessary, prod more to become vaccinated.

I cannot ethically or morally stand by any longer and listen to the repeated unfounded litanies of the NO VAX counter movement impeding the efforts of those burdened with facts and data committed to saving the lives of people.  I am also asking that all those who are promoting  lies and falsehoods regarding the vaccines which have been created to cease doing so for the only thing that they are accomplishing to the contribution to our national death toll.

I believe that we have been called by God to be good and faithful stewards of His Kingdom here on earth.  I believe that through the intersession of the Holy Spirits we have found the tools to save lives.

I ask that we become united to saving lives and in putting this virus behind us.

And I look forward to receiving my booster shot in December.
